Welcome to Barnes SW13, one of the few remaining "villages" in London. With its picturesque setting and strong community values, Barnes really is a hidden gem. The Sun Inn is located right at the heart of the village, opposite the famous duck pond, and is more than just your local pub! In a Grade II listed building, we mix traditional values with a modern twist, and have created a great atmosphere inside and out, brilliant views of the pond and the green from the front patio area, and a large covered, heated rear garden for those chilly evenings.
We strive to offer a warm and friendly welcome to local residents and visitors alike, and together with the fact that we are by far the most reasonably priced establishment in Barnes, you'll see why we are also the most popular!
Sadly it seems that Summer is drawing to a close, but there is still the Bank Holiday weekend to look forward too. Also, Autumn will bring a new selction of wine and spirits, a new menu but mostly importantly Jaimee's return to the Sun Inn, yes its also time to pass the torch back to the leading lady!

The Barnes Community Association is located on Barnes High Street and offer support for local residents and businesses.
The London Wetland Centre is a 10 minute walk away, and is a great family day out.

5-10 minutes - Follow Station Road to the left (through the woods) and keep going straight.
From Barnes Bridge Station
A 5 minute walk - turn right at the roundabout and head along the High Street.

From Hammersmith Underground Station
(Piccadilly line, District line, Hammersmith & City line)
Take the 209 bus to Barnes Pond
Bus
Routes 209, 485 and 283 from Hammersmith stop right outside the pub, as well as the N22 for those late night journeys.
Car
We do have a private car park to the side of the pub but this does fill up very quickly, however, there is safe street parking throughout Barnes.
